Ouch!

So I don't think I'm quite prepared to be the mother of a boy. Isaac seems to take after his daddy and is a little accident prone. It seems like as soon as one set of bruises clears up he falls and bonks his head again. I'm ready to carry him around all day or wrap him in bubble wrap or something. It is so traumatic to me when he gets hurt!
This is his latest bump on the head. It was pretty bad, poor kid!

Always a bruise or two on the forehead. He's just not afraid of anything and he tries to stand on everything! I follow him around the house trying to keep him from falling but it just doesn't work.

This was his first fat lip. He has so many darn teeth that when he falls with his mouth open he bites his lips.
I keep hoping things will improve soon and we will have less bumps and bruises, but from what I hear this is only the beginning. Yikes!

Ooohhh....SAD. That latest one is a doosie! Doesn't he know that his poor mother can't take this? I love that YOU have an accident prone child-- like you don't worry enough already. I remember thinking that someone was going to turn me into DCFS....it really was embarrassing to always have him wounded. I felt like I was a bad mom because none of the other babies I knew always had gashes on their foreheads!!! What was wrong with me?!
hmmmmm...maybe this has something to do with our babies head sizes....;)

Sad!!! Poor little guy. The greatest thing I found was "Liquid Band-aid". You may want to have some on hand. :o) (babies don't leave bandages alone-- and then they put them in their in their mouths! :P)

My poor kids have an accident prone mother. I'd be holding them walk around the corner and then they'd shift and bonk their heads on the wall. Nice. Gideon was a little spacey and would just walk into walls or doorways. It seems like it was always something. At least you haven't had stitches yet.

Hey just wanted to tell you my few days at your work was awesome. I loved all my nurses and everything was great. Too bad you weren't there.

How sad! Especially that last one! It is a good thing that he is low to the ground so when he crashes he doesn't have too far to go. :)
